Bei der 9. Auflage des Volkslaufs am Besucherbergwerk F60 in Lichterfeld (Brandenburg) gab es erstmals die Möglichkeit einer kompletten Umrundung des zukünftigen Bergheider Sees. Die etwas 16km lange Strecke war durch den nächtlichen Regen stark aufgeweicht und dementsprechend anspruchsvoll. Hinzu kam ein kräftiger Wind der den Läufern in Gesicht blies.
Sieger Jan Förster (M30)
Direkt nach dem Start des ca. 60 Läufer starken Feldes ging Marian Münster (M20) vom LSV Lok Arnstadt in Führung in direkter Verfolgung durch Jan Förster (M30) von der LG Süd Berlin. Am Ende hatte Jan durch Verzicht auf jegliche Führungsarbeit die größeren Reserven und gewann den Lauf mit 11 Sekunden Vorsprung in 1:05:08 Stunden.
